“I highly recommend an internship with Maverick Software Consulting. Maverick offers real world job experience that your classes cannot offer and will give you an advantage over other students who have not had an internship. Learning how to work with people in a professional environment and being part of a real software development process will prepare you for future full time positions when you graduate. Maverick can also lead to job opportunities right out of college in the same area you worked in during your internship, which is rare with most companies today. Maverick is an excellent choice for any student and will open up many doors for you in your future that a degree alone will not.”

"My internship with Maverick Software Consulting (MSC) greatly complimented my college education while also providing me with a volume of experience unparalleled by any of my previous technical positions. Thanks to the nature of the tasks that MSC provides for its interns, I could learn a new concept in my courses at Mankato State University in the morning, and be applying it to a real-world business application that same afternoon. Furthermore, the projects assigned to MSC interns emphasize not only the technical side of software development and testing, but also the business/communication facets of working life, which I believe gave me a leg up over other candidates when conducting my post-graduation job search. In all, I would highly recommend an internship with this company to any student wishing to add breadth and depth to their education and experience while greatly increasing their career prospects after graduation.”

"Working with Maverick Software Consulting has been a great experience. First of all, because MSC is a consulting company, I was afforded the opporunity to work on more than one project. Working on a variety of projects provided me with more access to different and unique technologies, and helped improve my ability to communicate technically both written and orally. Secondly, the work environment was very relaxed since all the interns are students in a similar situation, which fostered learning from one another. MSC is also very flexible in accomodating the student's class/work schedule."

“Interning at Maverick Software Consulting (MSC) has been an excellent exciting time for me. MSC provides a great way for college students to gain experience in the real world while still taking classes at a great university, but also gives the kind of exposure to technologies and business practices that are not explored in an academic setting. The atmosphere around the company is great, and so are the people, from the team leads to the newest intern. Everyone is excited about turning out a good product for our customers, and it really shows. I give my highest recommendation to MSC for any student wanting to gain real world experience to supplement their time earning a degree.”
