Software Engineer Overview
Maverick Software Consulting Software Engineers earn one of the highest on campus wages. Software Engineers set their own work schedules. We ask that you try to put at least 15 hours in between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Monday - Friday). After that you pick the hours and days when you will work. Software Engineers can work up to 40 hours a week in the summer. School is still the students’ highest priority, but Software Engineers typically work 20 hours/week and should commit at least one year. You will be working with other Students and Senior Maverick Software Consulting Team Leads on real software development and testing projects. All time spent training is paid. This is an easy going, fun work environment that helps bridge the gap between what is taught in college and what an entry level software engineer really needs to know.
If you are interested in working with leading edge technologies in web, database or application development and want to work with a company that has been named on Computerworld Magazines Top 100 companies list for ""The Best Places to Work in IT¨ for six years running, then this opportunity is for you.
